We harvested bamboo rhizomes, cured, sanded, cut and drilled four holes into them to create a unique button for your crafting needs! These buttons are popular for handmade bags, sachets, dolls, clothing and more! Embellish your craft with these one-of-a-kind, American made bamboo rhizome buttons! Every rhizome is unique and so are these buttons!

Each purchase includes a total of FOUR handmade buttons. Sizes vary between 1/2 inch to 1 inch wide and are up to 3/16 of an inch thick (each size depends on each unique rhizome). All four buttons will come from the same segment of rhizome and will be similar in size. These buttons may be colored easily using your choice of dye (including Rit Dye, natural dyes, walnut ink, indigo, etc.). Bamboo is very porous once the skin has been removed (sanded) and accepts dyes.
